A bold, anti-disciplinary actor, creative & arguably also a laugh, I trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama & International School of the Comic Actor (after many years learning on the job). Specialising in Shakespeare, theatrical clown and a budding folk musician, the work I co-create uses classic & historical texts in dynamic, funny and poignant ways as a Trojan horse for contemporary considerations of marginalisation, Othering & connection. Proactive & hardworking, I am currently part of the rep company for Lizzie Conrad Hughes' Shakespeare Institute practice-research, appearing as Romeo at The Space, alongside taking every opportunity to develop my own practice, with a particular focus on upskilling as a multi-instrumentalist & creating brave spaces through non-hierarchical, collaborative & integrated-access practice.
