Hi! Welcome to our Ko-Fi page! We are Empoword Journalism - a volunteer-led publication aiming to boost young female and minority-gender journalists into the industry. We were founded by a group of young journalists during the first Covid lockdown. Since then, our team has grown to include 45 editors and over 900 contributors. We are focused on providing a safe space for young creatives to develop their own abilities and confidence. We're so proud of the supportive community we've been able to establish, but as a non-profit, we need to raise funds to pay our domain fees each year.
