Epigram

Since Epigram was founded by James Landale in 1988, it has been covering news, culture and lifestyle at Bristol University through a fortnightly print newspaper and, more recently, an award-winning website. The newspaper has grown to a combined readership of over 20,000 per month and has won a number of awards including Best Publication, Best Digital Media and Best Media Society in the UK. Whilst we are immensely proud of our editorial and financial independence, the past few years have been tough as print advert prices and interest dropped inline with national trends. We want to maintain the high-quality journalism our readers have come to expect from Epigram. For example, we re-designed our lifestyle pull-out magazine, The Croft, this year to make it more appealing to our readers. However, Epigram requires funding in order to comfortably pass on the paper to the next generation of editors and so we are asking you to consider supporting our work through a donation. This money will go towards producing our print edition, innovating our use of digital media and running events to help the next generation of journalists at Bristol University.
