I am a doctor specialising in neurology, and editor-in-chief of Medical Woman magazine.
My work with the British Medical Association has included talking about pressures faced by junior doctors, flexible working and women in medicine.
One of my developing interests is in engaging the public with conditions affecting the brain and nervous system, and discussing issues within medicine as a profession. I have spoken about gender inequalities in medicine for Sky News and the BBC, as well as for BBC Sheffield radio. I have also acted in two short films centred on science and healthcare.
Feel free to get in touch with me on here or @DrFizzah on Twitter if you would like me to help you with a project.
