I need to move to Maryland by December otherwise I'll be forced to return back to the islands. Currently, I'm living from paycheck to paycheck. This month has been extremely hard since one of my roommates made the choice to move to Georgia. He left a few weeks ago and since then I and my current roommate havent been able to get up on our feet. We are behind on bills everything shifted to fast and we were not properly prepared for it. Our rent is $1300 and my rough monthly income is around $1200. $650 of that goes to my share of rent and the following weeks we have our bills. I'm tired of barely scraping by. This isn't how I imagine life after college. My current job drains me and I feel im losing my creative drive. An opportunity has opened up for me. To move to Maryland in December with my current roommate. His aunt is offering us a townhouse rent-free and we only have to pay utilities. Cool right...but the issue is getting there. I've been using my credit card to live since my paychecks have been going towards our bills and their late fees. I'm afraid of getting it to a high number something I won't be able to pay off without the help of my family. But I can't ask my family or rather I won't. See my mother has Crohn's disease and recently it started to affect her really bad again. She back on her chemo. Today I found out that My Grandmother has Acute bronchitis, which scares me because of im so far away from her. Imm hoping the move to Maryland will be a chance to finally get my footing a chance to start over. Everything till this point in my life has been forced by circumstances.
