My purpose as an artist is more than just selling my art for a profit. I grew up in and out of hospitals as a child, fighting cancer. Creating art was not only a distraction for me at the time, but I also found comfort in it as well. The beauty of art played a huge role in getting me through the stressors of hospital stays, chemotherapy treatments, and procedures, and art continues to play a huge role in my life today. I want to be a source of inspiration for others, while also growing as an artist myself because I truly feel that art can not only provide comfort to many, but it can also change the world.
