Sup y'all. Now that everything's moved to online, I'd like to start streaming some more. I'm looking to restart NorCalCrabattle with an online edition for it's 3rd year anniversary! Unfortunately, the graphics card on my desktop isn't supported anymore, and is making setup really painful (I'm stuck on MacOS from like 5 years ago). I don't need a fancy threadripper or whatever, just something that can run current-day software. Any help towards that goal would be much appreciated!
I'm a FGC EO/streamer aka Hagure. I've run a lot of FGC events over the years, from monthlies for old games (@NorCalCrabattle), weeklies at ESA Oakland (RIP), to running side tourneys at your favorite major/con (NCR, Combo Breaker, CEOtaku, EVO/AnimEVO, etc.), or helping organize Vortex Gallery—I have a passion for stepping up to give underrepresented games a place to shine. Wassup y'all! Thanks for your support. I'll be using any funds from here to support my efforts in the events I run, to help them become bigger & better! My current project has been making AnimEVOnline a reality. For the last few months, I've been putting in at least 10 hours a week in organizing all 34 of our tournaments. In the 2 weeks before the first tournament, I was clocking in 50+ hours a week! While I love doing it for the community, it also takes away a *lot* of valuable time away from working gigs that actually pay the bills. In the future, I'm looking to bring back NorCal Crabattle (Online), & continuing my work in creating & fostering community around the FGC. Any contributions, and/or spreading the word is hella appreciated. Thanks again for stopping by!
