I've created 66 The Nasiona Podcast episodes through February 6, 2022, and I have 30 more under production. To be able to complete this project, I will need your help. It takes me about 20-30 hours to produce each episode since I write, interview, host, edit, sound engineer, produce, and market each episode. Me and my co-producer have already conducted the interviews for 25 of 30 episodes.
Hi, my name is Julián Esteban Torres López. I'm a storyteller, public scholar, and culture architect advancing social justice. My work is about decolonization, liberation, empowerment, healing, and transformation. I left my full-time career to create the platform TheNasiona.com, a movement that centers, elevates, and amplifies the personal stories of those Othered by systems of oppression and dominant cultures. Through our magazine, podcast, publishing house, mentorship program, live events, along with other initiatives, we strive to humanize the Other. In keeping with this mission, notable archives and museums of cultural and historical significance have chosen to archive some of The Nasiona’s work. These include the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the Smithsonian Latino Center. Help me ensure our movement is always striving forward in solidarity.
