You can help us to create a discover a self-led residency this year. We are DIY and our ethos for residencies is DIY too! We know who we admire and want to work with and your support can help us to get there! The target amount covers: - Travel to get to our residency (£50 per artist return trip) = £100 - 2 night accommodation for two of the co-librarians in a hostel or Air bnb (£35 per artist / per night) = £140 - Food/ Drink for 3 days (£25/per artist /per day) = £150 - Zine Materials = £10
We started 'Just in Case Mobile Zine Library' in 2020, during the pandemic to help us to stay focused and process what was going on around us! Since then we've made zines together online, facilitated workshops, taken part in online zine festivals and helped to co-deliver our own! We raised £50 to be able to take a road trip and share our zine library in person with keen zinsters and the public, we did this in Newbury at City Arts 2022, by planning a Zine & Print Art Fair. We are now on a mission to expand this and create a self-led residency this year! We've been working on our Mapifesto! A zine map and manifesto that we want to create into a Riso Print. We are asking for support to get to residency destination, can you help! We hope the work we do inspires you and other artists. Onwards...
