Doing a Ph.D. in social science is a long road. I started my study in spring 2017. I want to deliver an innovative, well-written dissertation, but I would need more time to reach this goal; it is possible that I cannot finish the degree until spring 2023. Therefore, I am using this place to support my academic journey.
A Ph.D. student originally from Taiwan. Having lived in Sweden for a while. Now mainly based in Frankfurt(M), sometimes Berlin, sometimes Malmö. Interests: Gramsci, travel, and political geography. In addition to my research, I like to write articles about dark tourism and alternative, underrated sights.
I will mainly use this page to promote my writings on Medium and other platforms. Nevertheless, I would also post exclusive content here. The articles I like to write (and thus promote here) are related to urban landscapes and dark tourism. Besides, I would post things relevant to my research, such as social movements and migration issues. And hopefully, I could finish my fieldwork and thus my Ph.D. with the help from the potential supporters here.
