My dream is to become a full time fiction writer and I love sharing my journey to inspire and help other writers make their dreams come true too. Your support helps me get one step closer to being able to replace the income from my current day job, which would allow me to create more and to find balance. Create more There is so many stories I want to tell. There is so much I want to share on my social media and on my podcast to inspire and help other writers. But with two young kids and a full time day job, the hours I can dedicate to my writing career are limited. I have to get up at 4am in the morning to get an hour and a half of fiction writing every weekday. I record, edit and write the show notes for my podcast in the evenings when my kids are down for the night. I also plan my Instagram posts in the evening. This limited schedule doesn’t allow me to produce a lot of content every year, which would fulfill me so much! Find Balance Having this strict routine also means I’m spread thin. Quality time with my kids and my partner is so precious to me, so working on my writing career and working my day job means I have to cut down on important things that make me feel good. Like moving my body, meditating, journaling, baking, reading (yes, sadly, I don’t read as much as I would like…), and even sleeping. Writing brings me so much joy and fulfillment, I know I could never stop even if I tried. So being able to replace my current income with income from my writing career would mean freeing up some valuable time that I could redirect in producing more of the content that I love producing and being able to devote time in the self care that will allow me to keep on creating for the long term! No amount is too small, every dollar adds up and makes a huge difference to me! Thank you so much for considering supporting me and my writing career :)
