Last year during the height of the pandemic, my wife was searching for an online position and was contacted by a company that turned out to be scammers. After a series of seemingly legit tasks by the company, including a check sent to purchase at home equipment which bounced, we are now liable for the withdrawn funds. This has been devastating, & has wiped out our entire savings (including the small amount we got for our wedding) & we still owe more. Anything you can donate helps!

That's especially true for artists like me! I struggle a lot with depression, focus, and insomnia, so for me, it's difficult to maintain what people would consider to be a "normal" job, so instead, I turn to my art to keep myself afloat! Sometimes it's not enough, though, or I have to work so much that my arms get sore, so that's where support from things like Ko-Fi come in!
