Thanks to some great people and good commissions, I've been able to hit my goal to get all the parts for a new motherboard and a few new things to put into a better case for my computer. The GPU I have is fine right now, but it would be cool to work towards getting a better one. I was advised to go with NVIDIA, so those are a bit pricey. If I'm going for an uneeded upgrade, I should aim for something that will be relevant longer, yeah?
I'm a general pixel artist gal with a lot of other talents brewing in the back. I am in my 30s and feel like I'm finally hitting my stride. I'm in a decade-ish of taking pixel art seriously, getting back into it after college when before that I just had fun editing pokemon sprites.
