Hi. I am Maria Isabella, an artist based in Malaysia. A storyteller by nature, I grew up playing dollhouse a lot, before I learnt to read and unleash my imagination via written words. My writing career began when I was scouted from Wattpad, and my life took a turn. My dad used to tell me, "Unless you're successful like Siti Nurhaliza, you're nobody. Being an artist won't provide for you." And for that, I became one. I never imagined making a living as an artist. My dad, who once lived in the fame of it in the 90's, ended up struggling to survive the music industry; therefore, always reminding us to pursue good education and stay away from entertainment biz. And so I listened to him... until I didn't anymore.
