I am working with Golden Hours Studio music producer, Josh King, to turn lyrics from my Duo Ex Machina novella series into fully produced songs. Two have been completed to date, and we're having so much fun, I've become more ambitious. The plan is to raise funds to produce 8-10 songs for a Duo Ex Machina album, and also 8-10 songs inspired by the Sherlock Holmes stories, The funds pay for studio time and performers!
I'm a writer, lyricist and crafter. This Ko-Fi account aims to fund 2 albums: 1. Duo Ex Machina - lyrics from the 5 Duo Ex Machina novellas about Frank and Milo, a music duo - a couple - who frequently and very unwillingly get caught up in crime. 2. Songs in the Key of 221b (Music from Guitar Man) - lyrics from a series of contemporary Sherlock-inspired stories in which, along with solving crimes and being epic best buddies, John (who used to be in a band) writes songs about their lives. I write romance, fantasy, and professionally and a whole lotta fanfic as well. I recently was commissioning editor for The Only One in the World: A Sherlock Holmes Anthology.
