In 2023 I have applied to more shows and performances than ever before. My struggle with my weight means a lot of my old outfits no longer fit and I’m trying to get a couple staple outfit pieces to build upon for future shows. Some shows also involve travel up to 3 hours away so I’m hoping to make a little fund for gas money as well. Shows do not always pay day off. Some wait up to 2-3 weeks for payments from venues before getting it. Meaning a show in late June might not pay until July.
