Seriously, this seems like a good way to pick up some match funding toward bigger grants (like Lottery funding from the Arts Council). So, if you wanted to buy us one coffee or one coffee a week, we'd be more than happy. We really appreciate every penny we get and we make every penny count.
Welcome to the bipolar world of Somerset-based playwright and performer, Richard Crowe. Here, things can be a little 'up and down'. So, if you're wearing a hat, hold onto it. Over the Wall was established in 2018 as the production arm for work created and generated by Richard, starting with his one-man-show, Over the Wall Picking Apples, which has now toured extensively in Somerset and the South West of England (plans to mount the 'Urban Tour' are currently on-hold until we can return to 'live' theatre). But there's a lot more work that's been created, including Bipolar:The Musical, written with composer, Andy Collyer, and In Search of Cinderella, a film (a virtual panto) made with venues across Somerset. And there's a lot more in the pipeline, including Spitzer's Owls, a play about survival and hope, a creative collaboration with Ben Sutcliffe and Zaid Al-Rikabi of the Peoples' String Foundation, and a short film, Remember the Okinawans. And we're not just about producing theatre and films, over lockdown we've also hosted a series of Theatre Nights online (The Digital Edition), showcasing new work from Somerset theatre makers, and The New Normal...where's that to? A series of podcasts on the future of theatre post coronavirus. All this and more at: https://overthewallproductions.com/
