In Portugal, where I live, it's free for transgender people to legally change their name. However, legally unrecognized genders that don't fit the binary have to pay a sum that is usually 200€, and that's where I unfortunately fit in. Despite having my identity socially accepted, it brings me a lot of pain when I have to solve and sign legal papers, or turn in my deadname to organizations when I'm requested my ID. This year I'd like to solve that, and with your help I'll achieve it faster!
