I am a struggling writer of blog posts, articles, poetry, and prose. The above amount is simply an estimate of what I need per month to get by.
My name is Philip Simons and I was born way back in the 1980's (I'm an old millennial). I left school a dreamer, and fell into a string of jobs which have included sales, retail, warehouse work, and a little admin. I have an interest in a few creative pursuits - I play guitar a little and am interested in photography - but books, nature and wildlife, and writing are where my heart and mind keep coming back to. At the moment, I am mostly rejected, but not yet dejected. Many of the greatest writers you've heard of have had to go through rejection! I submit to magazines, I blog about books (monstareader.blogspot.com), I blog about nature and wildlife (monstawild.blogspot.com) and, basically, I write what I can, when I can, for whomever might like to read the content I've created. Writing is where my heart is, and I don't think I shall ever stop . . .
