Pulch Mag

Originally founded in 2020, Pulch Mag is a small independent publication for young West Australian artists and writers. We produce print editions and online publications, specialising in works of fiction, poetry and non-fiction. We strive to celebrate the diversity and creativity of young individuals living in WA, providing our emerging artists and writers with opportunities to network alongside fellow creatives and have their works be published. In 2020, Pulch Mag published the works of local artists and writers online. All of these creative works are still available on our website. In 2021, we released our first print edition with over 25 contributors from all over WA, which received lots of love, praise and support from the community. In 2022, we released a second print edition with approximately 21 contributors, which is now available to purchase through our website and local bookstores, including Crow Books (East Victoria Park), Planet Books (Mount Lawley) and New Edition (Fremantle). In 2023, Pulch Mag went on hiatus to handover the publication to a new team and prioritise administrative tasks. We now have plans to switch to online/digital publication for 2024. As we would eventually like to go back to producing print editions, all donations will go directly to production costs in order to keep Pulch Mag up and running. We would love to keep the youth arts culture of WA alive, and will appreciate any support we can get.
