As many are aware, times for music venues and creative enterprises are especially difficult right now, with many venues such as ourselves experiencing increasing financial hardships. This makes running spaces like QUARRY more vulnerable than ever, with music venues and creative spaces across the country facing untimely and unfortunate closures. Despite this situation, we are proud to say that our team has been working incredibly hard to keep our doors open, volunteering many hours, taking on additional work, fostering new ideas, and collaborating with and nurturing local talent, all while keeping the mission objective clear: ‘Run a music venue that provides for its local music scene and creative communities; the kind of music venue that we ourselves would like to go to’.
