I will be undergoing a medical procedure on the 14th of June, and I will be on medical recovery for 6 -12 months after the procedure. The biggest issue I’m facing during recovery is financial. Due to reasons beyond my control, I had to quit my day job and I do not qualify for EI for those same reasons. However, I do have a substantial amount of finances saved up for this situation. My expenses, including rent, are covered for the next 2-3 months, but there isn't much wiggle room. I will be looking for work as soon as I am physically able to work at least a part-time job, and I am looking into options for financial aid in the event that my savings are insufficient until then. It would help if anyone is willing and able to pitch in for groceries, bills, or my medical expenses.
