The donations to RT support both the RT team and a number of other modders or modellers (mostly from the BTA team) who's code/models we use. With 20+ people and paypal fees, the usual monthly cost is around £620

We are a mod for the BattleTech PC game from Harebrained Schemes known variously as the Urbie Preservation Society, the Dark Souls of BT or that hard mod (I might have made one of those up). Why do we need a Ko-fi page? The short answer is issues with our existing PayPal donation links. The long answer is we have costs both as a modding community and as a mod team. Donations go towards the maintenance of the server that hosts our asynchronous multiplayer map, buying unity assets for use by the wider BT modding community, buying the tools needs to create new Mechs or Vehicles, paying for voice actors to create new characters; to name but a few costs.
