This is an additive synth behemoth. 64 partials, each with its own ADSR envelope that can modulate amplitude, phase, or panning. Each of the 8 voices also has an amp and filter envelope and LFO. I will save you the trouble of the head-math... this is a total of 512 oscillators and 520 envelopes. Needless to say, it is a little (a lot!) taxing on CPU. The filters are clean resonant LPF's, in part because I felt it best suited the voicing of this synth, but also because analog modelled filters would demand more CPU cycles than I thought we could spare. There is an incredible level of control, but with the fader banks, it is easy to quickly sculpt complex sounds (especially formant). That was the motivation of creating partials :) If you are ever unsure what a parameter does, I have included tooltips for everything than can be read in the Ableton "info view" (bottom left corner). If you like what I do, please consider supporting me. With this instrument, I would actually suggest you try it out for free first to make it performs adequately on your machine, given the heavy resource demands. You can always "re-buy" it, or send a one-time donation later if you feel inclined. Known Bugs: 1) When parameters haven't been moved from their default value, they sometimes don't recall correctly after a save. The work around if you notice this is to double click on these parameters to reset them to the default value. I'm still working on a better fix for this, but haven't figured out the root problem yet. 2) When the synth first loads, CPU is very high (like higher than normal). It goes down for me over a couple seconds, and this is sped up if I move any of the partial level sliders.
