WTWSG is a generative, mutating, and ever-evolving waveshaper audio effect for Ableton Live. This device uses a combination of Jitter (jit.gen) and Gen to let you generate waveshaping wavetables using a mix of procedural noise and custom 4096-sample-sized wavetables. It features advanced and carefully calibrated controls for creating continuously evolving distortion, including jitter parameters that affect the frequency modulation of the waveshaper engine. This device offers the following features: • An oscillator for generating waveshaping functions from procedural noise and fractal functions, with X-axis and R-seed (Relative seed) controls. • An oscillator where you can load your 4096-sized (or smaller) wavetables to use as a basis for waveshaping. • A mix control for the two oscillators, along with phase controls. • Two engines that enable two different kinds of FM-modulating jitter (error) functions: one rhythmic and the other phase-related. • Frequency controls, as well as a simple lowpass resonant filter. You will also find a folder containing some distortion functions.
