A saturation plugin with an Even/Odd harmonic distribution slider. This uses waveshaping techniques for saturation and rectification. I used a tanh() function for the soft clipper, and provided multiple bias points, and rectification taps. It is x4 oversampled so aliasing should be minimal. *** BUG FIX *** There were a few problems with my initial publish. One bug I'd overlooked, and other unstable behavior that could arise in some combinations of settings. If anything, I made it TOO flexible! I removed the "pre/post" option for the rectification tap, as that was the main culprit. I also changed the default parameter values to be a more usable range. I found positive bias values, and the harmonics slider between 0 and 100% yields the best results. And of course, start modest with the input gain! *** Update *** Yet another update! After spending a bit more time comparing this to some dedicated tube preamp modelling plugins, I realized I should add a lowpass filter. I also reworked the interface after removing the Rectification Order parameter. There are definitely some sweet spots not where it gets quite vibey! And hopefully quite a few less "danger zones"...
