We're beyond excited to announce the third edition of our Journo Resources Yearbook, once again packed with exclusive features and exercises. You'll find inspiration, a space to take time out, and help to push your career in journalism and media forward. Dropping through letterboxes in January 2024, this limited-run magazine will be at least 100 pages and is wire-bound, so you can keep it with you throughout the year. The proceeds from every copy go directly to supporting our next round of Journo Resources fellowships, helping people of all ages kickstart their careers. Inside the magazine you'll find: • 12 in-depth features from our 2023/24 fellows, looking at everything from how we're expected to dress in the newsroom to how we report on food. We'll also cover the physical spaces journalists work in and the opportunities brought by AI, amongst other features. • Brand new and updated personal development exercises to help you set achievable goals for your next 12 months in journalism, as well as plan out the stories you really want to cover. • Useful directories of rates, salaries, and other journalism resources you can use to find the support you need over the next 12 months. • Some kind of fun origami TBC... We've done a scrunched-up ball and a paper aeroplane already, so watch this space. Once again, we will also be commissioning a custom cover illustration from Thea de Gallier, which will be revealed in December.
