This set contains 5 custom lineart brushes I've made for Procreate! They're the ones I use to line pretty much everything I draw, and I hope you can find some use for them too! Please don't re-upload them anywhere ♥︎ ABOUT: All of these brushes (except the Felt Marker) are quite crunchy, and have hard edges! It gives the lineart a bold and crisp look, and it makes using the magic wand and bucket fill tools very easy, which is handy when it comes to coloring. But if you prefer soft edges, these brushes are probably not for you! SETTINGS: If these brushes feel a bit odd when you draw, try lowering the amount of stabilization/streamlining in the brush settings. My default is to keep them pretty high in order to help me get those smooth curves, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea! I personally like to draw at a 2000×2000 to 3000×3000px canvas at 300 PPI, and usually keep my brush size between 10% to 30%. Note that the higher resolution you draw at, the more smooth your lineart will appear when you zoom out. Most digital artists tend to draw at a high-ish resolution, then shrink their artworks before posting them online, so it's something to keep in mind for the final look! SOME NOTES ON MY DRAWING STYLE & HABITS: I rarely change the brush size when I'm drawing — I get the variation in lineart thickness just from varying how hard I press down when I draw. That being said, I recommend always having a 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 grip on your pen when you draw, and that you go into your settings and adjust the pressure curve until you find a setting that allows you to easily go from thick to thin lineart in one stroke, without having to apply a lot of pressure. This is important, because if you grip your pen too hard, or apply too much pressure while you draw, you may end up hurting your wrist! You can find this setting by clicking the Wrench icon in the top left corner of the Procreate app, then Preferences > Pressure & Smoothing > App Pressure Sensitivity. If you don't know how this works, I strongly suggest looking up "procreate pressure curve" on YouTube. This setting can affect both how your lineart looks and feels, and how well you treat your body while you draw! ★
