I currently work off of a 13" iPad using procreate. This has been fantastic for several years now, but definitely has its limitations. I want to create larger pieces and the iPad can only handle so much! I want to invest in a Huion Kamvas and Clip Studio Paint!
I gravitate towards the hauntingly beautiful and macabre, and that tends to show through my artwork. I love fantasy creatures and spooky environments. Art has always been my go-to for self-expression, and it has helped me get through so many seasons of life. It allows me to express emotions I may not have otherwise been able to articulate. It's the one thing I've always come back to when I didn't have a direction, so I finally decided to allow it to occupy a larger place in my life, and perhaps it will do for others the same as it's done for me. I am currently working full-time as a surgical technologist and building my art business on the side. I've spent the last several years building my skills in art and business so I can realize my dream of working for myself doing art full-time.
