I decided to bundle these 2 related devices. I was doing some reading on Chebyshev polynomials and decided to make a waveshaping (distortion/saturation) that uses them. The cool think about Chebyshev polynomials is that it can isolate a single tone (sine wave) and frequency multiply it if the amplitude is 1 (or -1). Different orders orders of Chebyshev polynomials will produce those orders of harmonics (under the previously described conditions). If you have been following any of my development before, you might be realizing right about now that this sounds like the time I default to using a multislider to control harmonic content. And you'd be right! XD I also made a more "raw" device called Polynomial that allows you to mix a single term at a time, and doesn't follow the Chebyshev polynomial form. Nevertheless, is is still useful for waveshaping! Caution: This is another one of those plugins where the output can get out of hand pretty quickly. I prefer leaving people lots of options for sculpting rather than try to restrict every use-case that will get you into trouble (this would also be nearly impossible as these circumstances are largely input-dependant). Just be careful when adjusting settings, and maybe throw a limiter behind it if you are planning on getting crazy with it.
