Print at home, 300dpi. 3 A4 pages with lovely vintage wallpaper and a topper. All 3 pages should be printed on heavier paper. I use Canon Matte Photo Paper 160gsm (I'd say it's a medium weight cardstock). INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Print all 3 pages at the same percentage for the pockets to fit neatly. 2. Glue the front and back pages together and set aside for glue to cure before folding in half. I also rounded the corners of my folio. 3. Cut out the pockets and make thumb notches with a circle punch. Ink the edges of the pockets now, if you want ink. 4. OPTIONAL: Cut 2 pockets of acetate (overhead foil) 13 x 4,5 cm and 2 pockets of acetate 13 x 6,5 cm. These sizes will have to be adjusted if you did not print at 100%. 5. Sew the acetate pockets onto the paper pockets, with a straight stitch on the sewing macine. The acetate pockets are great for small items, and add a lot of extra real estate to a relatively small folio! If you don't have a sewing machine, you could try glueing these with narrow score tape. 6. Glue the pockets into the folio. The top right pocket in mine is only glued on the sides, allowing for longer pieces, i.e. faux washi tape to slip in there and extend all the way to the bottom of the folio. 7. Ink the edges of the folio. 8. Set an eyelet approx. in the middle of the front page, and thread a ribbon with one tail longer than the other through the eyelet. This allows for the longer tail to wrap around the folio and meet the shorter tail in the front, to tie a nice bow for closure of your folio. 9. Glue on the topper included (or a topper from your stash) and embellish as you please. Acetate is difficult to keep perfectly in place with your fingers when sewing, but I discovered that sewing clips, (or bulldog/fold back clips) hold it really well, and will guarantee a neat result, without damaging the acetate. If any of the acetate still pokes out after sewing, just trim it off ;-) We are doing handmade here, not perfection :-D You may use these items in tangible items to sell (journals or other paper crafts), but you may not resell them "as is", neither as a physical collage sheet nor as a digital file - or altered digitally in any way.
