Hi! I’m Daxter Slater, better known as Sakeozo, I’m a Deaf cartoonist based in Pittsburgh, PA. I’ve freelanced for 14+ years and going strong as people value my influential contribution. In my work, you can see a variety of themes ranging from fanarts, ASL, geckos, and original work. Currently, I’m focusing on building a stronger portfolio with short comics to find a literary agent to support my dream graphic novel projects, featuring a strong, empowering, and independent main protagonist who’s Deaf.
