Hi there! I’m Shinzans mama and I’m the one who will be posting about Shinzan adventures out and about around Kyoto and hopefully the rest of Japan. Shinzan, who also goes by Sasuke, is Hokkaido mix and was adopted at the age of 6 from Nose north of Osaka where he had spent three years at a wonderful rescue shelter Ark. Before that he roamed the mountains of Gifu. The videos, photographs and short stories are about how he sees the world around him on our walks and what we do to overcome his nervousness of city life. Hope they are enjoyed and if you would like to see or want to know more please do leave a message or leave a snack for Shinzan!
Once we are fully up and running and know how to use a go pro Shinzan and I will be uploading short videos of our walks and share any tips for first time dog owners and lovers. For those who want to know more about his breed, Hokkaido mix, and what it’s like to live with Shinzan who has limited domestic skills because he has always lived outside, you can hopefully see some of the time and effort we both put in to our relationship.
