Five years ago, my daughter went to college early, and our community - online and offline - stepped up to help us make the initial payment. Since then we've worked hard to fund the rest ourselves, with the aim of allowing her to graduate debt-free. She's worked hard too, both on her education, and in some part-time jobs. Sharon Hurley Hall is an anti-racism activist and educator. Firmly committed to doing her part to eliminate racism, she is the Founder and Curator-in-Chief of Sharon’s Anti-Racism Newsletter. In this twice-weekly online publication, Sharon writes about existing while Black in majority-white spaces, and amplifies the voices of other anti-racism activists. Sharon is also a co-founder of Mission Equality, a company dedicated to helping create an equal world for everyone, from a paradigm of trust and freedom rather than power and control.
I'm aiming to make educating about equality and anti-racism my full time gig.
