Venerable Clear Grace Dayananda is an ordained monastic who has been called to transform her practice from brick and mortar monastery living to walking out the dharma in the world. Sister Clear Grace Dayananda’s vision to learn and spread the dharma, guiding others toward liberation and awakening, most especially those one might not see in our temples and monasteries, has, through the love and generosity of others, materialized as “The Great Aspiration,” Sister’s mobile van monastery. The conversion of “The Great Aspiration” has been a bold undertaking which has been driven by the support of friends, family, and strangers who have opened their hearts and shared resources to propel Sister’s vision into reality and has enabled her to remain in robes as an independent monastic. While doing so presents a myriad of challenges, Sister Clear Grace Dayananda has undertaken this path in the discipleship of our great teachers and the sages to share the dharma in the world, meeting people where they are in the practice of “barefoot buddhism”. In order to continue this ministry, ongoing financial and material support is needed to complete the conversion of the “The Great Aspiration” and finalize the work and repairs which will enable Sister to get the van out on road, as well as to provide the basic necessities which are needed to maintain a healthy dharma body and meet the needs of the communities she serves. Sister Clear Grace Dayananda continues to bow deeply in gratitude for the outpouring of support and generosity that has already been offered toward the realization of “The Great Aspiration,” and invites ongoing participation in her vision through the sharing of her online content with friends, family, and community, volunteer support, and in-kind donations.
