SMUMods is a student-run non-profit initiative, catered to improve student life at SMU. Recognizing that bidding was an issue and asking around for a good professor takes up a lot of time and effort, the founders worked hard all summer and winter of 2018 to build up SMUMods from scratch. What started out as a mutual goal to help SMU students with their daily student life, helped build SMUMods to where it is today, having features such as Course/Professor reviews and also a platform for students to sell their textbooks. Currently, we pay for our own hosting and marketing campaigns but are looking for a more sustainable way to manage the site. Every dollar will go to helping us help better the community we are a part of.
