My daughter's engaged! The 4 years since a post-viral syndrome started a cascade to bedbound & constant pain have been incredibly hard. Falling in love saved her life. Now they need YOU! Dutch law won't let them be together "just because" for 2 more years - intolerable. They CAN start a business & stay legally (graphic design, probably, at which both excel). It doesn't need to turn a profit. But it needs an initial investment of €4500 ($4900). Please help us save two lives - as one future.
I'm a science fiction writer, photographer, and fine artist currently using my time/income to support and be caregiver to my 19-year-old transgender kid whose life was derailed by covid in early 2020 and who is now severely disabled with other extant health problems. We are struggling to improve support of and care for our disabled adult transgender daughter. Three years ago they were terribly ill with what was surely covid and it triggered a steady decline into a nightmare of a situation. Ruby can only move their hands and head, a little bit, at this time, and has been admitted to a specialist hospital ward. Goals include getting their partner over here so they can be together, bringing in supportive equipment for when Ruby comes home, working toward Ruby being able to live as independently as possible, and generally making ends meet.
