I was unable to read or write 2 sentences without forgetting the subject for more than a year after my brain injury, and not able to stay employed. In order to be of some use, I've made this my mission, with the hopes that the end result will be opening up of a center to provide much needed services and build community bridges to lift as many as possible into a happier life.
Welcome to my page, and I hope you find something to interest you here. There are a few different things going on here, with a little bit of humor with the Major Tom series of short stories and other odds and ends. The motivation for this page was a place to present my essays on homelessness in the U.S., from my perspective. I have been homeless now for over 6 years due to a traumtic brain injury from an attempted murder. 5 years ago I couldn't read a paragraph in a People's magazine, or string together 2 coherent sentences. Now, I'm being told that my writing is worth a read. It's been a long road. My page will remain free as my message is the most important thing. So please feel free to share. The only thing that may be Members Only content will be the Saga of Saddle Sore, Texas, which is probably a couple of months away. So, please, enjoy!

Hey folks, I do apologize for not updating as frequently as I should, and I do hope I can be forgiven. As often happens in this universe, everything in my life was changed in the span of an hour, the floodgates opened by something as ordinary as someones puppies getting out, then inexplicably zig zagging and snowballing to a major and life changing incident. To Everyone Who Rooted For Me is as raw as it gets. I left it very much in it's original state because that's what it is, a raw look into a dark place, but a place that should not be candy coated or minimized. One that should be examined in its harshest light in hopes that shock value makes an indelible impression on the reader. I'm working on something with more detail, more history regarding 310 Tuslers Street. Keep your eyes peeled, it was an amazing and sometimes unbelievable journey that you won't want to miss.
