A month ago we got a van for the Bay Area Food Pantry, the nonprofit food distribution that I coordinate. It's a used van, but it suits our needs. It is a time saver and overall will be a money saver from the U-hauls we were renting 2x's a week. However, we have noticed some maintenance issues with it that need to be addressed, such as both back tires needs to be replaced, the breaks needs to be looked over, and it needs a tune-up. We also have a $3500 registration fee for the van. Please donate
I am a humanitarian by nature and my journey has led me to join organizations and individuals across the world to better Earth and humanity. This work is enriching and fulfilling soulfully, but difficult to make a living on. Currently, I am the coordinator of the Bay Area Street Pantry. We give out free food every week to the Oakland, CA (USA) area. I am also a writer. I currently write articles for multiple organizations. I also have my own blogs that cover an array of topics from travel, collecting, beauty/fashion, and current topics. Of course, there is a personal blog as well. I also have been active in the Snail Mail Community since I was 9 and continue to send letters and mail art weekly.
