Hi, I’m James The Canoe River Cleaner and i need your help – for the last few years I have been clearing debris, and managing our beautiful River Freshney. Some time ago I set up a group of amazing volunteers called The 'Freshney Comrades' and with their support and incredible hard work we have transformed the river into an asset to our community and a haven for the wide range of wildlife that call it home. To enable me to continue what I do, I am reliant on the support of kind members of the public who support my cause. The easiest way you can do this, and do your bit for our River Freshney, is to set up a monthly donation. No matter how small, it will make a difference. Your support will also enable me to continue my work alongside educational programmes which encourage young people to respect nature and reconnect others with the natural world.
