Quarantine is tough enough — how does someone cope when their home is no larger than a van? Across Canada, van lifers have ditched a traditional home for one on wheels. But Covid-19 has closed our parks and halted travel; already typecast as "dirtbags" and misunderstood, how are van lifers affected by all this? When domestic travel resumes, I aim to set off in a van and visit iconic park destinations to interview van lifers across British Columbia.
