While plenty of people monetize their Substack newsletters, I think it's important to keep mine free--I believe that information should be accessible, and I do Satellite Cult because I enjoy it. That said, each week I spend time and effort putting together a newsletter. I'm so grateful to anyone who feels inclined to tip!
