A Sustainable Podcast: Creatively, Energetically and Financially

Now that you lovely listeners have supported us to cover our basic costs, we are focusing on making the podcast sustainable. Despite our posts on social media, it’s not all fun and games! To continue the podcast beyond this summer, we need to start valuing our time. The new goal is working towards paying Holly and Susan to create one Voices of the Ancestors episode. Some of the time costs include: Setting up, travelling to, recording, transcribing and editing an interview.

We make a podcast called Voices of the Ancestors. It's about Georgian Polyphonic Songs and the women who sings them. All proceeds go toward supporting the production of podcast episodes: so please see current goals for details.
