Hello, My name is Lauren and I am an artist living and working in Staffordshire in the UK. Textile Art Sculpture, Heirloom textile Art, Mixed Media art and Window dressing props and interior design pieces. I am inspired by anthropomorphic creatures and animals, fairy tale inspired folk, dark circus characters and fantasy literature. My work is sprinkled with magic and Whimsy. I have always loved art and making, cresting and collecting vintage and antique ephemera. I studied a BTEC in Art & Design followed by a BA Fine Art at the Arts Institute Bournemouth, courses in pottery, photography, textiles and Art History. I also studied a Year One course in Craft at Staffs University. I have worked as a Window Dresser, Prop Designer, Visual Merchandiser amongst other creative pursuits. I have been working on my Artwork part time for over 10 years and have just made the move to full time. I am happy to work on commissions just contact me with your ideas.
