If you're not sure if mindfulness is right for you right now, this carefully crafted eGuide (56 pages) might be able to help. There are lots of way to be mindful without meditating, as offered in this eGuide. If you love meditation too, or want to give it a try, there is a selection of short guided meditations, as well as videos to watch when you have the time. Although it’s called the 52 Weeks of Mindfulness, you don't have to do just one activity a week, you can pick and choose which one feels right for you whenever convenient. Also included is a weekly mindfulness record that you can print (where possible), to help you record any insights or inspiration you get from the activities, if it helps. Under each activity there is also an opportunity to note what's useful (if printing), so you can ‘tinker’ the activity to work best for you. The activities included can be tried at home, and even (when appropriate) at work. Each activity is designed to be done for a few moments, or more if you have time. Mindfulness has become popular in recent years and although many people find it helpful, it may not be right for everyone especially if there’s lots going on for you right now or if you have a trauma-related diagnosis. If you’re not sure about any of the activities or using mindfulness, have a chat with your doctor or healthcare team first. Available in .pdf format.
